Crochet Amigurumi Crocodile Toy PDF PATTERN

This amigurumi crochet crocodile pattern was already created in 2012 - Amigurumi Crochet Crocodile PATTERN, I have made a family of crocodiles for a little boy who finds crocodiles very fascinating. I also find crocodiles fascinating. Baby crocodiles are so lovely and the bond between mother and kids is very strong. Crocodiles are known as one of the oldest living things on Earth. My amigurumi crochet interpretation of crocodiles.

Baby Crocs with Mama Crocodile

They make up a very lovely gift for a boy. 

It´s the same pattern but Mama Crocodile is made with Drops Paris (Aran weight, 10 ply), 2,5/3mm crochet hook, 12mm hand-painted safety eyes

and the small baby crocodiles are made with simple cotton thread: Fialka, (Sport weight), 2mm crochet hook, 10mm safety eyes

Building shapes in amigurumi:
1. Design (increasing and decreasing)
2. Stuffing (never underestimate stuffing part)
3. Neat stitches (it come with practice)

Hand Painted Safety Eyes for Amigurumi

I ´ve painted safety eyes for several years now, mostly to my crochet club members, for my own creations or just because it fulfills the need to paint and work with colors. People have asked do I sell them? I´ve come so far that some of these sets of Amigurumi Gourmet Eyes are available in my Etsy Shop. I use artist´s acrylic paint and acrylic varnish, every pair is worked with great care. Hand painted amigurumi eyes will make amigurumi toys even more special and unique. These examples are 18mm, slit pupil eyes, perfect for amigurumi lizards, crocodiles, dragons, snakes, cats etc.
