Free Amigurumi Crochet Pumpkin Pattern by Happyamigurumi

Autumn means pumpkins. Every year I crochet some pumpkins. This year I´ve already made three. They make great gifts. Kids love them, but adults even more. 

I updated my previous free pattern, illustrating it with new videos. 

Pattern is the same, but I´ve made some new videos and the process is a bit easier. At first I crochet a pumpkin, then I make a stem and then comes giving shape to a pumpkin. 

What you´ll need: 

Yarn: one ball of orange DK yarn, some greyish/brownish cotton yarn for the stem.

Crochet hook: I used 2,5 mm crochet hook.

Tapestry needle - doll needle to give a shape to your pumpkin

sc- single crochet

Inc- 2 single crochet into one

Invdec - invisible decreasing - 2 single crochet together.

Finished SIZE:

with 2,5mm crochet hook approx. 5-6 cm/ appox. 2 inches, including the legs.

with 4,5mm crochet hook approx 10 cm/ approx. 3,9 inc

YARN:

Yarn suggestion for 2,5 mm crochet hook: DK weight/Worsted Weight: Ricorumi DK, 25 g.

You may use bigger hook size as well, design won´t change.

Crochet skill LEVEL: Confident beginner

This crochet toy pattern requires knowledge of some basic crochet terms:

Crocheting in the round, forming a magic ring, single crochet stitch, single crochet increase

You can make a lovely bunting by combining different crocheted cuties, like ghosts and mini pumpkins or make beautiful table decor with them.

Many possibilities. Both, kids and adults will like it. I can guarantee.
